Review by Brandon:
After admitting that I was suffering from Marvel fatigue, I will say that Avengers Infinite War was a lot better than I thought it was going to be and left me feeling more excited about the next one. Oh yes, the ending of Infinity War left it wide open for a sequel…doy!!! It really isn’t a surprise since Marvel has already scheduled multiple sequels and stand-alone movies for the next 50 years… Okay, maybe 10. It would definitely serve you well to have seen most of the Marvel movies prior to Infinity War. The one thing that set this movie apart from any Marvel movie prior, is that now that most of the characters have been established with their backgrounds, they could get to the heart of the story and dive right into the action!
Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. Thanos is played by Josh Brolin, and does an amazing job. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.
There is plenty of humor in between a ton of action packed fight scenes. I honestly felt like a kid at times, jumping up in my seat, fist pumping. At other times, I found myself upset by certain characters being killed off… I will just leave it at that as I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone. Honestly, there is too much good stuff in this movie that if I give anything further away, it would just ruin it for you. Go see Avengers Infinity War and I hope you like it as much as I did. Thumbs up!
