Dear Minority,

If you are actively supporting and rooting for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump for the presidency, then you stand in the minority of the populace…and I need to chat with you, please.

For the first time in modern American history, nearly 70% of all Americans loathe their two choices for president. Whether you’re a Hillary supporter or a Trump supporter, you need to accept reality and realize that you are supporting a hated candidate. The majority of Americans are either going to stay home this election, vote for a third party (a total throw away protest symbolic meaningless move) or vote AGAINST your candidate.

Now that you’ve wrapped your brain around that fact, which I doubt you care about, I wanted to let you know a few other absolute truths about your candidate. I realize, wholeheartedly that everything I am about to say will do nothing to sway you, nor is it designed to. It is simply meant to prepare you for the great despair you’re going to be feeling about 3 years from now. Y’know, sorta like 55% of Obama supporters feel today according to recent polls when asked if he was able to deliver and/or do what they had hoped and expected.

I’ll start with you Hillary folks;

If you support Hillary because you believe that the last 8 years have been just fine or better, you’re going to be very happy with the next 4 years if your gal wins. If you think she’s going to make anything better or dramatically different in the immediate, you’re devastatingly wrong.
Hillary absolutely WILL appoint far left leaning, liberal judges to the Supreme Court who will guarantee that Obamacare is forever with us and that our gun rights are chipped away at even further. Gay marriage will be safe and marijuana will be on the fast track to legalization. You, as a Hillary supporter, will have a stranglehold over the highest court in the land for at least 30 years.
Hillary WILL make the world feel more at ease with America for both good and bad reasons. She is seen by our allies as a stable, long serving public servant. Our friends that disagree with her, know she’s one of them. Our enemies, meanwhile will know that they can do almost anything they want…not because she’s a woman, but because she’s weak.
Hillary will do absolutely NOTHING to “clean up Wall Street,” or in any way “harm” the top 1%. As with Barack Obama, almost ALL of her funding comes from Wall Street and, as with Obama, the divide between the top 1% and the middle class will grow under Hillary even more. Stats don’t lie, and I’ll be the first to tell you that Obama has been great for me as a 1%-er. But boy, has he helped continue the erosion of the middle class and their quality of life.
Hillary will NOT give you free child care or free college. First of all, there is no such thing. Someone pays for everything eventually and since we know there is no factual, possible way for the 1% to fund even 10% of her proposals, this idea is dead on arrival.
Hillary absolutely WILL grow the national debt even larger. Barack Obama ran up more debt during his presidency than every single president before him COMBINED. Hillary will see that as a challenge and try to beat it.
Hillary WILL continue the devastating strife amongst the American streets that Obama has fostered by picking winners and losers, failing to support all sides or the right sides when it comes to public disagreements, and will make America even less safe and respected abroad, if that’s even possible.
Hillary WILL do something, if not many things, that we will find out after the fact because she is perhaps the most corrupt public figure to ever run for the highest office in the land, and remember, this nation elected Richard Nixon.

Now, for you Trump supporters;

If you support Trump because you believe that the last 8 years have been a disaster, there is reason to believe that the tide will turn under Trump. The question is whether or not the tide will turn for the better or even, God forbid, the much, much worse
Trump WILL most likely get most of his financial proposals passed if he wins, since it’s likely he’ll retain control of congress. That will mean lower taxes and some business incentives that will spur some growth.
Unfortunately, almost all of Trump’s potentially positive proposals have a counter proposal which will stagnate us further. If he truly does back out of the Trans Pacific Partnership and in any way screws with NAFTA and other trade deals, in addition to slapping tariffs on Mexican and/or Chinese goods, our economy will be devastated by the cost of much higher goods across the board and any of that extra money we may have will get nowhere near our pockets.
Trump WILL appoint conservative justices because congress will force him to.
Trump WILL NOT build a wall, at least not what you’re picturing. We will not have a Great Wall of China along our border or a wall similar to what Israel has. Countless Conservative, Law & Order experts have spoken loudly about how asinine this is. By the way, we already have a fence where we can. Instead, Trump will greatly increase Border Patrol agents. And illegal immigration will continue.
Trump WILL NOT deport people at a rate any greater than Obama (who deported far more than Bush, By The way)
Trump IS beholden to multiple people and those of you so naïve to believe that he is his “own man,” and completely independent are the types who make a case for those who argue voting shouldn’t be a right, but rather a privilege. (A position I vehemently disagree with since a stupid, ignorant society gets the leader they deserve). Trump is in bed with countless entities he claims he will “go after,” most notably China. A simple review of publicly available documents shows that Trump is carrying, for example, an office building on Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan, of which Mr. Trump is part owner, a $950 million loan. Among the lenders: the Bank of China, one of the largest banks in a country that Mr. Trump has railed against as an economic foe of the United States. Seriously? Trump is going to slap tariffs on China and stop them from manipulating their currency? Grow up, people.
