With the wedding behind us on Sunday 2/25, my wife, Christina, slipped into a shirt with her new last name emblazoned on it
After getting married on Hidden beach in Carmel, we drove back to our rented home for dinner and fun with friends and family
Our dinner was a gift from very close friends who couldn’t be at the ceremony and began with a fantastic spread of meats, chesses, veggies, and more
Soon, people started arriving…and my wife seems quite surprised that she’s being photographed here
Eventually, it was just a great night with friends, family, and Dawn
We woke up Monday morning with plans only to be married and be together and enjoy the ocean and each other…so, of course, we enjoyed our first bottle of sparkling wine as a married couple
From there, we did what we love to do…we played games with each other while my wife disgusted the world by pairing her sparkling wine with sour candy
Everyone knows that pork rinds are the ideal accompaniment to sparkling wine…duh
Later, she switched to Flamin’ Hot Cheetos…what are we doing here?
Eventually, out came Jenga (wife pictured behind tower)
The game as always, started slowly as we worked on the foundation
At this point, I am already 5 steps ahead of her…
We take these games rather seriously
Success at removing yet another block
HAHA…you’re about to lose woman!
Oh, I see we’re getting serious and standing…
I wouldn’t do that if I were you…
I told you
Oh don’t pout
Ok, ok…pout all you want…you’re adorable
As the day wore on the sun began to set, Christina donned her glasses to enjoy the view and her wine
Even though we said NO GIFTS Dawn, of course still found a way to break the rules and find something so perfectly special and personal. Her sister-in-law made these (I think, most of what I heard was bawk-bawk-bawk)
While in Monterey, we did some experimenting (elllllooooo)….we also made some new Tahoe Blue Vodka based drinks…any guess what this is?
