My wife Christina and I spent the weekend in Reno…first stop was to see Brian at the Diamond Vault!
From there, we headed up the street to M3, where we caught up with some old Reno radio friends from ROCK 104.5 (emphasis on “old”).
We found our way to the Silver Legacy (where we always stay) and headed down to El Jefe’s bar for some drinks.
We caught up with our buddy Mike and his girlfriend for his birthday-eve dinner and drinks.
Saturday morning was all about relaxing…including a nice bubble bath interrupted by the wifearrazzi
For lunch we headed downstairs to Brew Brothers.
My wife, who is disgusting, ruined a pizza by getting pineapple on it.
I, meanwhile, ordered up the pastrami on pretzel roll sandwich.
And Christina promptly stole a fry from me
This is Brandon’s fault…he was talking last week about a new pastrami sandwich on a pretzel roll…I was drawn to this pile of wonderful
Here’s the whole reason for the trip…the Impractical Jokers were intown to do their live stage show!
Prior to the show, we grabbed a drink (and each other)
Before the Impractical Jokers show, we met a few listeners including Brooke and Cody (according to Brooke, Cody really liked my shirt…it’s velour. I’m bringing velour back).
Being an enormous local celebrity, we of course got VIP treatment and access, which Christina was very excited about
We made our way to our seats and discovered that our VIP status planted us just 3 rows from the stage!
Christina and I really enjoy the “Impractical Jokers,” TV show so we were both really excited for their live show
And then Sal, Murr, Joe, and Q hit the stage! And they were AWFUL…so disappointing in so many ways. We literally walked out less than an hour into the show. They didn’t ruin an amazing weekend, but they did ruin themselves for us
