Sunday was Mother’s Day, so of course Wife Christina and I had my crazy mom over to Williams Manor for a dinner celebration
Since I already financially support her, and she’s close to meeting her maker, gifts are meals and silly things like this giant orchid
As for that aforementioned meal, mom loves lamb chops and so does my wife (something I’ve apparently neglected for 2 years since I’ve never made it for Christina)
The full meal was pan seared lamb chops, sautéed mushrooms and salad. And yes, it was amazing
Christina and mom…and no, I don’t know what the hell my mother is looking at
Since we’re never going to give her grandchildren, the closest she gets are the pups. Here she is with Maestro
And here she is with Nellie, who technically is older than mom (Nellie will be 13 in July)
At her advanced age, Nellie is a little skittish and getting her to sit still can be frustrating. Apparently, so frustrating that mom wants to eat her
Before she left, mom had to have Christina explain how to use her phone…it was something very complicated like how to send a text message
As you can see, Mom is not amused
Christina got a real kick out of my “weekend work pants.” HELLO! I’m doing work around the house, why would I wear nice jeans? C’mon man! I mean, I’m not doing work in this picture, but trust me, there was work done.
Speaking of Christina, she’s a mom too so the dogs got her a card, of course
And the dogs were super considerate and got their mom a purse after hearing her bitch and moan about needing a smaller, spring bag. Those dogs sure are sweet, aren’t they?
