On Monday, my wife Christina and I picked up our new 2020 C8 Corvette Stingray
First things first, we have to sit through the tutorial of all of the cool new features including multiple front and rear cameras (which record and save footage while driving), the ability to hydraulically lift the car when going over speed bumps and inclined driveways, and how to program and operate the dozens of onboard computers
Pictures don’t do its’ beauty justice
It’s definitely a show stopper in person when you see it
Up front, where there used to be an engine, is a little more storage room
This isn’t the final look as the car still has a few after market additions and modifications, but you get the idea
Car guys love wheel pics
Back inside, here’s a look at the driver’s seat and surrounding areas
And the passenger’s seat…and yes, those are red seatbelts to match the leather and suede interior
As most people know, this is the first mid-engine Corvette, meaning, as the implies, it’s right in the middle of the car, so here’s the rear view
A quick look down and you’ll see the first of two storage areas; the rear one still large enough for a golf bag
To the middle of the car, we find the engine. This too, has some work to be done as we have a torch red engine cover that needs to be installed to really make it pop visually
Just the right size for a case of Tahoe Blue Vodka handles with room to spare! More pics coming soon….
