The newest addition to Williams Manor, Callie the Lab/Shepherd mix hasn’t spent much time at the Manor yet, as she’s been making friends at Dog Woods Resort!
She loves Scout (The other Black dog in this picture…and yes, this is acceptable play you ninnies), but Callie and two German Shepherds at home didn’t take to each other yet
So we sent Callie and Scout to Dogwoods for a few days so that she could make some new friends and we could get her spayed and then we’ll re-introduce the pack
In the meantime, while Callie is getting along well with the dogs she meets, she still gives them the occasional look as if to say “what you doin?”
One thing this 2 year old Sheprador loves to do is run, run, and run
No doubt this will be Dawn’s least favorite picture…way too many of “them.”
Callie says to her new friend “Is this what I’m going to look like when I get old?”
Callie is both food and toy driven (that’s the Lab in her)…here she says “gimme that toy! Gimme that toy!”
On Tuesday, I took Callie to our vet for the first time…she was camera shy (Callie, not the vet)
Clearly she is not a natural showbiz dog who knows how to pose on command
Adding “teach her to take pictures on command,” to the to-do list

We’re getting close
Ok, screw it. Good enough. Geesh
After our photo shoot, she calmed down and waited patiently for the vet
We have a yawn! We have a yawn!
And yup, she even dozed off for a while. So far, a clean bill of health and an appointment this week to get spayed…and then the fun of training her begins! Paging Tahoe Blue Vodka…We’re going to need an extra case stat!
