It’s time once again to get festively creative with Tahoe Blue Vodka. And no, I don’t know why I look surprised that this picture is being taken
First up is a peppermint Moscow Mule
We’ll start by creating a crushed pile of candy canes using a hammer or kitchen mallet
After taking your aggressions out on candy canes, this is the consistency you want
Moisten the rim of your copper mug with lime juice and dip it upside down into the candy canes, creating a festive rim
Mix together the ingredients as instructed, and garnish with some mini candy canes along the rim
It’s also fun to make some candied mint leaves, looking snow covered, to float atop as well
Next up; same idea, but we’re going to decrease the peppermint kick and add in some pomegranate juice for our Peppermint Pomegranate mule
Follow the instructions and fill up your copper mug, garnishing with candy canes and candied mint leaves
This time, we add in some pomegranate arils floating atop to add to the festivity
Grab your favorite martini glass and get ready for the Santa Clausmopolitan
It’s basically a twist on the traditional cosmopolitan with a festive presentation
For this, I use a sanding sugar rim to get the festive white color, pierce some fresh cranberries onto festive toothpicks and add a fresh sprig of Rosemary (the herbal world’s Christmas tree)
Our last one is the Rudolph…I bet you can guess what color it will be
Usually, I serve this in a pint glass, but a festive large wine glass works too (notice the maraschino cherry impaled on the rosemary sprig to look like Rudolph’s nose)
This is a dangerously good, refreshing drink similar to a Shirley Temple, so some festive toothpicks with Maraschino Cherries top it off…Enjoy!
