John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum

Brandon’s Review:

Picking up right where John Wick 2 left off, John Wick is now excommunicado from the assassin conglomerate he once worked for, and has to fight his way to freedom, once again!  It does help to have watched the previous two in the John Wick series in order to get some of the character’s back stories, but let’s be honest, we’re all here for the action.  The third installment in the series of this heavily violent, long-take and brilliantly choreographed fight scenes did not disappoint.  Keanu Reeves is definitely getting up there in age, complete with the old man turkey waddle, but clearly trains like a beast to pull off a lot of these fight scenes that seem to go on and on.

Aside from Halle Berry’s appearance along with her two awesome Belgian malinois that fought along side her, here are a couple of scenes to keep an eye out for.  You won’t be able to miss them and these may be spoilers, but John Wick goes into a horse stall and uses horses to kick the bad guys and break their necks, John Wick gets attacked by a giant man and uses a book to break his neck, and you will also enjoy the John Wick superfan who is hired to take him out at the end.  The John Wick series delivers in action, comedy and cute puppies.  Therefore, John Wick 3 gets a big thumbs up.
