I have over 20 years of restaurant experience. Currently I work at a busy Reno restaurant as Restaurant Manager. I am in charge of all seasonal cocktail changes and liquor ordering. I love creating new cocktails!
We always have a signature Tahoe Blue cocktail. On our menu we have a Tahoe Mule which is our top seller. It’s nothing new or creative, just your standard mule.
For my Drinking with the Maggots submission:
Snickers Bar Martini
- 2 oz Tahoe Blue Vodka
- 1/2 oz Creme de Cocoa
- 1 oz Dorda Sea Salt Caramel Liqueur
- One single serve Vanilla creamer
Shake and strain into caramel drizzled martini glass. Top with whip and sprinkle of crushed Snickers pieces.

Our resident bartender, Kyle, provides his twists on the drink as follows:
I would switch it out Snickers for Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
However you can add which ever chocolate bar you like.
In addition. I would also make the following adjustments:
I would swap out the cocoa liquor and add Frangelico.
I would also add in 1 oz of Bailey’s to make it not as harsh, while also adding 2oz of chocolate milk.
