Drinking With The Maggots – Blukrainian On Coke & Matt’s Carrot Cake Martini

This week, our resident bartender Kyle has provided two new recipes in honor of Matt the founder and CEO of Tahoe Blue Vodka and his in-studio visit on Friday, April 1st, 2022

Blukrainian On Coke

You know because everybody’s changing Russian cocktail names to Ukrainian cocktail names. And it’s a cool twist on a White Russian.

  • 1.5 oz Tahoe Blue Vodka
  • 0.5 oz Kahlúa
  • 0.25 oz White chocolate Godiva Liqueur
  • 0.25 oz of Butterscotch schnapps
  • 2.0 oz heavy cream
Shake contents up:
Pour into a glass with ice and then top off the glass with a splash of vanilla coffee coke.

 

Matt’s Carrot Cake Martini

Combine sugar and cinnamon together. Then wet the rim of the glass with a little carrot juice. Next step, rim the outside of the martini glass in said “sugar cinnamon mixture” all along edge of the glass.
Combine:
  • 2 oz Tahoe blue vodka
  • 0.5 oz Tennessee fire whisky
  • 2 oz Heavy cream or 2 oz vanilla coffee creamer
  • 2 oz Carrot Juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla (not needed if using vanilla coffee creamer)
Shake up contents and strain into glass.
Then sprinkle a little cinnamon on top.
