So I found out about Bitty and Beau’s Coffee Shop from one of the gals, Cameron, thats on one of my favorite Reality Shows Southern Charm. She follows one of the Baristas on Instagram, Trista the Barista..that girl is hilarious and full of joy! Anyhwhoo all the folks that work at this coffee shop have intellectual and developmental disabilities. The coffee shop is named after the owner’s children who also have IDD.
I just love how Amy the mother of Bitty and Beau describes her children and all those with IDD as Not Broken, cause they aren’t. This award ceremony is from the end of last year and well deserved. Thank God for beautiful people like this doing beautiful things to help more light shine in a world that sadly has way too much darkness.
