Easter Sunday can get pretty busy for those that celebrate the day…church, family, Easter festivities and Easter dinner…so with all that I thought I would give you a couple of ideas for easy desserts to serve this Sunday…and yes they are yummy!!!
The majority of the time I bake my cupcakes from scratch but hey there is no shame with baking out of a box!! Still tastes great and is much easier to make cupcakes from a box than from scratch! So why not make some cupcakes! You can go with the party rainbow mix, since they basically have Easter colors!! Make cupcakes according to box directions.
Once the cupcakes have cooled, take out some of the cake from the center of the cupcake so you can put some frosting there when you frost your cupcakes!
You can use whatever kind of frosting you like, premade of course so this is even more easy for you on an already busy day!! Sprinkle and put some chocolate covered Easter eggs on the cupcakes and bammo you have Easter cupcakes!!!
Cookie mix from a bag is heaven sent when you want to make Easter Chocolate Chip cookie bars but you don’t want to make them from scratch!! Make the cookie dough according to bag instructions, I used 2 bags and added some white chocolate chips to the mix, once you have made cookie dough according to the bags directions go ahead and Spray a 9×13 baking dish, spread out cookie dough, sprinkle with some white chocolate chips and Easter chocolate eggs, bake at 350 degrees for about 25-30 minutes, check for doneness you don’t want to overbake tho!
Easy breezy and super yummo!
Happy Easter!!
