Celebrating Rob’s Wife Christina’s Birthday

My wife’s birthday was last week, so I came up with the idea of a birthday tree!

I ordered up some heart and birthday ornaments…

Some rose gold lights (her favorite color)

Add in a 2 foot tall artificial tree and some presents and you have a birthday tree to look at for days leading up to the big day!

As for the presents, I decided to upgrade her shoe collection and picked out the sexiest ones I could find for her to wear when we attend her other presents later this month

For our 10 guests, we did a surf-and-turf spread, starting with the turf

For the surf, I did bacon wrapped scallops, shrimp scampi and lobster tails

Salt crusted baked potatoes (with a toppings bar) provided some starch

And, because you can’t have too much starch, smoked mac n cheese as well

And the obligatory salad. Whatever

In the end, it all came together beautifully

And we end on this random note; Don’t drink and Prime. We’ve all done it; a little too much Tahoe Blue Vodka, a night on Amazon and BAM! Two days later, 390 pieces of Laffy Taffy show up. DOH.
